15 Day Program details:

Day 1: Arrival in South Africa

We will pick you up at Cape Town international airport on the day of your arrival. The pick up times are 10:00 AM | 14:00 PM | 17:00 PM. As we know that you had a long journey to finally arrive in Cape Town, you can use the rest of your day to settle in, and get some rest for the busy days ahead.

Day 2: Orientation day and visit V & A Waterfront

The group starts the morning with breakfast, followed by an informative session conducted by one of Claim Victory’s team members. The informative session will cover some facts about South Africa & Cape Town, cultural aspects to keep in mind, and also some assistance with the individuals who wants to book some extra adventures or tours.

Afterwards, we will drive to the V & A Waterfront, where you will be able to visit some local shops, visit the local food market, get your picture taken at the Table Mountain frame and we also show you where you can book the Robben Island tour. We are happy to assist those who needs to exchange some money or wants to obtain a South African sim card.

Highlights on Day 2:

2 Week South Africa tour

Day 3: Half-Day City tour

After breakfast, you will be picked up by one of Claim Victory’s tourist guides, who will spend half of the day with you exploring the city of Cape Town. The tour gives you the opportunity to roam the streets which are filled with history, to get a better insight as to what shaped not only Cape Town, but also South Africa as a whole. Once the tour is done, you have the option to be dropped off at Table Mountain and can make use of the cableway.

Day 4: Full-Day Peninsula tour (Cape Point) 

This full-day tour offers you the unique opportunity to enjoy the spectacular coastlines which the Cape Peninsula has on offer. A lunch pack & refreshment is provided on tour, to make more time to enjoy the highlights! Some of the highlights include visiting Cape Point, viewing the penguins in Simons town, and also exploring the beautiful botanical garden of Kirstenbosch.

Day 5: Half-Day Township tour

This tour is a must see, allowing visitors a unique journey through the history of South Africa by following a timeline starting in 1652 through to the present day democratic South Africa.

The tour is divided into what is referred to as “The Three South Africas” 1: The Birth of South Africa, 2: Apartheid South Africa, 3: The New South Africa. This tour gives you an insight into the greatness of Nelson Mandela and is an absolute must see during your visit to Cape Town.

Day 6: Free day!

A day which you can use to fit exactly to your needs! You can book an additional tour or adventure, or simply go to the beach or do some shopping. When making your booking, you are more than welcome to ask for tips or proposals as for what to do. Popular options include hiking up Lions Head, swimming with seals or Skydiving!

Day 7: Full-Day Whale route tour

This tour covers the coastal whale route, with the main attraction being Hermanus, the best land based whale watching spot in the world! Spend the day visiting the Penguin colony in Betty’s Bay, old harbour in Kleinmond and if you book the tour in season, you have the option to book a boat based whale watching experience! Included in the tour is also a wine or beer tasting experience.

Day 8: Cape Town – Mossel Bay – Sedgefield

We start our journey leaving Cape Town in the early hours of the morning, slowly making our way towards Mossel Bay. Our first stop will be at the “Rooi Alwyn” where you will have some opportunity to shop around or grab a deliciously prepare local “vetkoek”.

We then make our way to the privately owned Game reserve located just a few minutes drive from Mossel Bay, where you will enjoy a 3 hour Game drive. During the Game drive, you have a great opportunity to spot various different animals, including Lions, Zebras, Elephants, Buffaloes, various buck species, and many more. (Please keep in mind that we can not guarantee any sighting of wildlife animals – But you do have a great opportunity to see them) 

After the Game drive we head off to our final destination of the day, Sedgefield. Here we will overnight at a hostel located a mere 5 minutes walk from the beach. Guests are welcome to go for a beach walk once arriving at the hostel, although swimming should be conducted with caution.

Dinner is served at around 19:00 PM. After which you will have free time to relax after the very exciting day.

  • Visit the “Rooi Alwyn” in Riversdale
  • 3 Hour Game drive at privately owned Game reserve outside of Mossel Bay
  • Overnight in Sedgefield
  • Dinner in Sedgefield

Day 9: Sedgefield – Jeffrey’s Bay

We start the morning with breakfast, after which we head back on the road and make our way to Jeffrey’s Bay. Upon arrival, you will have the option to choose one of the following activities to partake in:

Sandboarding (Loads of fun out on the dunes. Activity includes a qualified instructor.)

Surfing  (There is no better place to learn how to surf in SA than Jeffrey’s Bay. Most of our guests are able to stand after 1 lesson!)

SUP (Stand up paddling for those who wishes to be one with the ocean. Great alternative if you are not interested in the surfing)

Waterfall trip (Very popular activity amongst our guests. Explore the beautiful nature and even zipline in to the Waterfall.)

After your chosen activity, you will have the rest of the afternoon to relax. Dinner will once again be served at 19:00 PM.

  • Choice of 1 activity (Sandboarding, Surfing, SUP or Waterfall trip)
  • Overnight in Jeffrey’s Bay
  • Dinner in Jeffrey’s Bay

Day 10: Jeffrey’s Bay – ADDO Elephant National Park – Jeffrey’s Bay

We start our morning with breakfast, after which we directly drive to the ADDO Elephant National Park. The National Park is home to many wildlife species, who are living in the protected area. You will spend the whole day driving around the park, searching for various different animals. A tradition on our tours is to play the “spotting game” with the winner with the most sightings winning a small prize. (Please keep in mind that we can never guarantee any sightings of wildlife animals, although you do have a high probability) 

We usually arrive back at the hostel around 17:00 PM. Guests have leisure time until dinner at 19:00 PM. The rest of the evening is free time.

Day 11: Jeffrey’s Bay – Stormsriver – Nature’s Valley

After breakfast, we pack our tour bus and slowly start heading back towards the Cape Town direction. Our first stop will be the Stormsriver villiage, where those who wish to participate can book an optional Segway tour through the forest area in the region (R450.00 for 1 hour) For those who wishes not to partake in the activity, they are more than welcome to relax in town and perhaps visit the old 60’s diner located in the heart of the villiage.

Next, we visit the Tsitsikamma National Park, which is located next to one of the most beautiful coastlines in the world. You will enjoy a short 2km walk to the suspension bridge at the River mouth. (Low fitness level required) and also have an opportunity to enjoy the beautiful nature which is nestled in the area.

Lastly, for those who seeks some adreniline injection, we stop at the Bloukrans bungy site, where those who are brave enough can partake in the highest bridge based bungy jumping in the world! (216 meters) If you wish to partake, please keep in mind that you will have to inform us when booking your spot. (R1350.00) The price also includes a Zipline to the jump spot. This is definitely any adreniline junkies dream!

Finally, we end off our day by stopping over in Nature’s Valley, where we will be spending the night. The hostel is located in the heart of nature, with guests having the opportunity to sleep in special tents (Tents have beds, electricity and electric blankets) giving you the feeling of relaxation and enjoying the surroundings.

Dinner is served around 19:00 PM. The rest of the evening you will have free time.

Day 12: Nature’s Valley – Plettenberg Bay – Nature’s Valley

We start off our morning having a nice breakfast in area of Nature’s Valley. Our first activity of the day is the visit of the Monkey sanctuary in the near to Plettenberg Bay. Here you will have the opportunity to not only see a lot of different monkey species, but also learn more about their behaviour and characteristics.

During the day you will also have the option to visit a Big cats sanctuary (R260.00) or snake sanctuary. (R210.00) We will also visit the town of Plettenberg Bay, enjoying some magnificant views which are on offer. If time persists, a beach walk will be our final activity for the day, before heading back to Nature’s Valley.

Dinner is served between 19:00 – 19:30. After dinner you have free time.

Day 13: Nature’s Valley – Knysna – Wilderness – Oudtshoorn

We start as usual with breakfast, before heading to the Elephant sanctuary, located near to Knysna. Here, you will have an ineractive tour, and for an additional fee of R45.00 you will be able to feed some of the Elephants. This is seen to many as their highlight of the tour, getting close and personal to these gental giants.

Our next stop is a visit to the Knysna heads, afterwards making a quick stop at the Waterfront. Knysna is known for it’s beauty as well as vibrant atmosphere. We also visit the Map of Africa in Wilderness.If time persists and weather allows it, there is an opportunity to take part in the Paragliding activity.

We finally make our way over the Outeniqua pass, making our last overnight stop in Oudtshoorn. Dinner is served at 19:00 after which you have free time.

Day 14: Oudtshoorn – Cape Town

On our final day, we will enjoy our last breakfast together as a group. We will have breakfast at around 07:30 AM to ensure we don’t arrive back in Cape Town too late in the evening.

During the final day, you will have the option between 2 activities:

Wildlife ranch: This is a special zoological facliity like no other in Africa! Enjoy a guided experience where you get to see over 90 different species of animals, most of which are endangered. From Cheetahs to Crocodiles and even snakes! Be sure that you will get a very special experience.

Cango caves: The cango caves heritage tour takes you back in time, visiting 6 chambers inside of the caves. You will be lead by an experienced guide, and get better insight about the history and stories behind this magnificant natural wonder.

When the activities comes to an end, we will make one last stop for lunch, before heading back to Cape Town.

  • Breakfast in Oudtshoorn
  • Cango Caves Heritage tour OR Wildlife Ranch
  • Transport back to Cape Town
  • Overnight in Cape Town

Day 15: Drop off in Cape Town

Sadly, all good things must come to an end, even our awesome 2 week Road trip! We will drop you off at the airport 3 hours before your flight departs. If you require us to drop you off somewhere else, be sure to tell us when making your booking!

  • All accommodation destinations during the Road trip have been perfectly selected to provide you with the most unique & unforgettable stay.
  • On Days 1 – 7 & 14 you will stay at a Hostel located right at the foot of Table Mountain (Very central)
  • Days 8 – 10 you will be staying right on the beach. (Indian ocean)
  • On Days 11 & 12 you will be staying in the beautiful forest area of Nature’s Valley, getting up close and personal with nature and the outdoors.
  • On Day 13 you will stay at a vibrant on local accommodation located in the heart of Oudtshoorn. Included in your stay is a local barbeque! (A must for every tourist)

Meals during the Road trip:

  • We are able to cater for any dietary requirements, please just inform us when you are making the booking. (Vegan, vegetarian etc.)
  • Breakfast is provided on Days 2 – 15 of the South Africa Road trip
  • Dinners provided on Days 8 – 13
  • We provide an opportunity for lunch daily
