Day 1: Arrival in Cape Town South Africa

We pick you up at Cape Town inernational airport on your arrival day. We will transport you to the Hostel in Cape Town, and you have the rest of the day to relax and get ready for the rest of the week that’s ahead. You can also use your first day to visit Table Mountain, as you will receive your ticket when you are picked up at the airport. The ticket is valid for 7 days.

Day 2: Orientation day and visit V & A Waterfront

We meet at the Hostel around 11:00 AM. A Claim Victory team member will have a orientation session with the group, covering the following topics:

  • Detailed information regarding your week ahead
  • Some information about the history of Cape Town & South Africa
  • Things to keep in mind while staying in Cape Town during the week
  • Assist volunteers in regards to their journeys (If you are doing a volunteering project)
  • Presentation of additional activities you can book during your free days during the week (Saturday & Sunday)

After the session, we head off to the V & A Waterfront, where you can expect to enjoy/experience the following:

  • Visit African curio shops (Shops where you can purchase all sorts of different souveniers)
  • Get your picture taken at the Table Mountain frame
  • Visit the Waterfront food market
  • Visit the Watershed (Local artists showcase their various different arts & crafts)
  • Obtainment of South African sim card (Optional)

When we are finished with all of the above, you can either stay behind and enjoy the Waterfront on your own time, or we can transport you back to the Hostel.

Day 3: Half-day Cape Town City tour

After breakfast, you will be picked up by one of Claim Victory’s tourist guides, who will spend half of the day with you exploring the city of Cape Town. The tour gives you the opportunity to roam the streets which are filled with history, to get a better insight as to what shaped not only Cape Town, but also South Africa as a whole. Once the tour is done, you have the option to be dropped off at Table Mountain and can make use of the cableway (optional)

Day 4: Full-day Cape Point tour:

This full-day tour offers you the unique opportunity to enjoy the spectacular coastlines which the Cape Peninsula has on offer. A lunch pack & refreshment is provided on tour, to make more time to enjoy the highlights! Some of the highlights include visiting Cape Point, viewing the penguins in Simons town, and also exploring the beautiful botanical garden of Kirstenbosch.

Day 5: Half-day Township tour

This tour is a must see, allowing visitors a unique journey through the history of South Africa by following a timeline starting in 1652 through to the present day democratic South Africa.

The tour is divided into what is referred to as “The Three South Africas” 1: The Birth of South Africa, 2: Apartheid South Africa, 3: The New South Africa. This tour gives you an insight into the greatness of Nelson Mandela and is an absolute must see during your visit to Cape Town.

Day 6 & 7: Free Days

On days 6 & 7, you have free time. You can choose to explore the area on your own, or you can book some additional activities. We are able to offer the following options:

  • Winelands tour

  • Game drive safari
  • Helicopter tours

Day 8: Departure day

We will drop you off at Cape Town international airport, or if you wish to continue your journey in Cape Town or South Africa, we can arrange do drop you off at the location you requested. You can also combine this package with our 7 Day Garden Route adventure tour.



During the week, you will have the following breakfast options:

  • Health breakfast (Muesli, Oats, fruits etc. with coffee or tea)
