Day 1

We will pick you up at the airport on arrival day, on the times specified above.

You will be transported to Zebra Crossing Backpackers, where you will be staying for the next week. On arrival, we will also assist you with exchanging of money, or any other assistance needed.

You can use the rest of the day to relax and get yourself ready for the busy program ahead. Alternatively, you can visit some coffee shops, bars, or restaurants within walking distance from the hostel.

Day 2

You start the morning with breakfast. You can choose between English or Healthy breakfast, with coffee or tea included

Later, one of our tour guides will meet you at the hostel to give you a presentation and information about Cape Town & South Africa.

We will then drive to the infamous V & A Waterfront, which welcomes almost 24 million tourists on a yearly basis.

You will have the chance to look at the different arts & crafts markets, visit the local food market.

Day 3

Spend the day getting to know the beautiful coastlines the Cape has on offer. 

Get your picture taken at the Cape Point sign, meet our lovely African penguins in Simons Town, and exploring the beautiful Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. 

Also included is a visit to the colorful beach houses in Muizenberg, usually the spot where we have lunch.

Please note: The tour does not include  entrance to the Penguin Colony

Day 4

After breakfast, you will be picked up by one of Claim Victory’s tourist guides, who will spend half of the day with you exploring the city of Cape Town. The tour gives you the opportunity to roam the streets which are filled with history, to get a better insight as to what shaped not only Cape Town, but also South Africa as a whole. 

Once the tour is done, you have the option to be dropped off at Table Mountain and can make use of the cableway.

Day 5

his day is a must-see, allowing visitors a unique journey through the history of South Africa by following a
timeline starting in 1652 through to the present day democratic South Africa.

The tour is divided into 3 sections:

1. The Birth of South Africa,

2. Apartheid South Africa,

3. The New South Africa. This tour gives you an insight into the greatness of Nelson Mandela

Day 6

You can use this day to do any activity you wish. Popular options are going to the beach, climbing lions head or Table Mountain, and visiting the Old Biscuit Mill market in Observatory.

Day 7

We will spend the day driving along the Whale Route Coast, which is home to a diverse number of marine wildlife.

We visit the Penguin colony in Betty’s Bay, where you will get very close to these amazing African Penguins.

We also visit Hermanus, which is known as the best land-based whale watching spot in the world.

In-season, you can also book a Whale Route boat tour (June – December)

Included in the tour is a wine or beer tasting from the local area.

Day 8

Sadly, all good things must come to an end, even our awesome Cape Town Explorer week!

We will drop you off at the airport 3 hours before your flight departs.

If you require us to drop you off somewhere else, be sure to tell us when making your booking!
